Boots
Handcrafted boots combining durability with exceptional style
A boot made in Copenhagen has to earn its keep from October to April. Ours are built for that: Goodyear welted with a leather sole that can be replaced, uppers in French calf leather that takes a polish and shrugs off rain, and lasts that hold the ankle without pinching.
The Chelsea boot in the collection keeps the classic elastic gusset and a sleek toe, so it works under a suit as easily as under denim. Every boot is made on our own lasts in the atelier, with the same leathers and the same hand finishing as the rest of the collection.
Made to order or bespoke
Choose the leather, colour, sole and finishing and we make the boots to order in three to four months. For feet that are hard to fit, or for a boot you want to keep for twenty years, a bespoke commission builds the boot on a last carved to your measurements, with a trial pair before the final one, in the atelier or remotely.
Caring for boots
Rotate boots so each pair dries fully between wears, use a shoe tree to keep the shaft and vamp from creasing, and have the sole replaced when it wears through rather than when the upper is damaged. A well-kept welted boot should outlast several soles.
Prices are quoted on request. Book a consultation or contact the atelier and we will help you choose the right boot for your winters.
